We are always looking for independent contractors who can provide in-home care to either our developmentally delayed/disabled adults or foster children.  If you have an interest in becoming a Foster Parent or Host Home Provider, please contact the Ariel Clinical Services office closest to your home.

Youth Mentors:

Work with foster children and other youth in the community who may be at risk of out of home placement.  Mentors play a key role in assisting youth learn skills, build relationships and become connected to their community. Mentoring is a paid position with flexible hours and excellent training. You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable insured transportation, an acceptable driving record, be able to pass an intensive background check, have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of having fun with kids. Starting wage is $9.00 per hour (part time, typically 5 – 15 hours per week, primarily afterschool and weekends).

Youth Mentor Position Description

Structured Parenting Time Specialists:

Help biological parents have safe and healthy interactions with their children while the children are placed out of their home.  We are seeking individuals who could act as “parent coaches” teaching appropriate parenting and communication skills to biological parents.  This position requires keen observation, excellent writing skills, a minimum typing speed of 50 WPM, extensive experience using Microsoft Word.  Excellent training and support is available.  You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable insured transportation, an acceptable driving record, be able to pass an intensive background check, have a high school diploma or GED.  Starting wage is $10.00 per hour (part time, typically 5 – 20 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends).
